key visual for poster
Client: Polish Theatre in Bydgoszcz
2025
Key visual for the poster of “The Absolute at Large”, directed by Judyta Berłowska at the Polish Theatre in Bydgoszcz. The performance is inspired by Karel Čapek’s novel, which tells the story of an invention capable of extraordinarily efficient energy production, whose revolutionary potential quickly leads to unexpected side effects. The carousel is a recurring element in the stage design. The project was integrated into the Theatre’s poster layout and also featured in the theatre programme.
The play director was inspired by my glitch artworks and wanted something in that style on the poster.
We used the motif of the carousel, which appears as part of the stage design in the performance and is used by the actors throughout the performance.
The play is a science-fiction story about an invention capable of extraordinarily efficient energy production. The new technology, initially seen as a breakthrough, quickly brings unexpected side effects that begin to change the world order. The situation grows increasingly tense, and events accelerate, leading to unpredictable consequences.
